Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a Master’s degree or MBA being preferred. They must have at least 15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with a minimum of 7 years in a senior leadership position within the real estate or construction industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards is required, as well as experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

The Vice President, Office & Industrial Controller will manage and supervise the corporate accounting team, overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting for the O&I portfolio, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis. They will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of the financial position and monetary results of operations of the O&I Division, preparing the annual budget and forecast updates. Furthermore, they will provide financial reporting support to senior leadership, analyze monthly financial results, and make recommendations to improve profitability through examination of financial transactions and contracts.
