Requirements

Candidates should possess 6–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, a deep understanding of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and controls, and prior ownership of external audit, tax, and compliance in a SaaS setting. They should also have experience leading system transitions and implementations, and ideally hold a CPA license or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

The Controller will lead accounting operations, including G/L, A/R, A/P, payroll, and revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. They will own the financial close process and deliver accurate financial statements, prepare internal and board-level financial reporting, manage external audits, build and maintain accounting policies, and keep current on evolving regulations. Furthermore, the Controller will prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts, monitor budget variance reporting, and support SaaS-specific metrics tracking.
