Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess a CPA designation, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 4 years in a leadership role. Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience with complex accounting areas, including inventory, foreign exchange, and consolidations are required, along with proficiency in ERP systems, close management tools, banking platforms, and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

As the US Controller, you will lead all aspects of operational accounting processes for the US entity, with a strong emphasis on inventory management, foreign exchange (FX) management, intercompany transactions, consolidations, treasury, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) in the US. You will own the full-cycle accounting process for the US entity, including the month-end consolidated close process in compliance with US GAAP, manage and optimize inventory accounting processes, lead foreign exchange (FX) management strategies, direct and oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations, manage consolidated financial reporting, oversee treasury operations, and supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions specifically for the US entity. You will also establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures, define accounting function-specific KPIs, lead and mentor a team of 5+ accounting professionals, represent key accounting needs during financial systems implementations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
