Requirements

Candidates should have proven success in VC-backed startups between Series A and C, experience with data, insights, or security companies, particularly those with managed service, SaaS, or API models, and experience leading at least one fundraising round, ideally from Series B to Series C. They must possess deep understanding of financial principles, accounting, and financial planning, strategic financial planning skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leadership and team management experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, a commitment to integrity and compliance, and operational finance skills.

Responsibilities

The Vice President of Finance will manage the company’s P&L, ensure accurate financial reporting and financial health, oversee pricing and packaging review & evaluation, analyze and report on ROI for sales, marketing, and product investments, support fundraising efforts by preparing financial models and investor materials, develop and implement scalable financial processes and systems, lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards, provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team, partner with HR on headcount budgeting and total compensation strategies, mentor and develop finance team members, and engage in hands-on financial operations such as detailed financial analysis and process implementation.
