Requirements

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in real estate acquisitions preferably in the industrial / logistics sector
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in real estate, finance, business, accounting, economics or related area
Expert ability to review and understand financial models in Excel and Argus Enterprise
Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail including an editing eye, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong negotiating skills with the ability to navigate nuanced and complex investment scenarios
Ability to function both in a team-oriented setting, and independently
Strong sense of personal motivation, responsibility, entrepreneurship, team player, low ego
Ability to work well alone / with a team with little to no supervision in fast paced environments
Strong analytical, critical thinking and writing skills

Responsibilities

Provide acquisition leadership in deal procurement, underwriting, negotiation, oversight of due diligence, and investment committee memos
Creation of, presentation to, and approval by the representative Investment Committee
Execute on post-acquisition strategies to ensure investment success and integration of the asset into the ownership's portfolio
Communication with clients, joint venture partners, consultants, brokers, legal and risk management professionals
Assist in quarterly asset valuations
Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Identification of new acquisition and development opportunities in the Central US, primarily focused on the Texas markets of Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and Houston
Comprehensive responsibilities related to new acquisitions and developments ranging from sourcing, underwriting and analytics, structuring, negotiating, due diligence, and closing
