Requirements

  • 12+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 10+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or 8+ years with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, computer science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or related fields, with significant exposure to financial services, fintech, and payments
  • European and UK Open Banking and payments experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation and delivering measurable business impact
  • Proven experience with full P&L ownership, driving budget efficiency, and achieving profitability targets

Responsibilities

  • Execute and develop a comprehensive Open Banking strategy aligned with Visa’s global product vision and business objectives
  • Lead transformational initiatives to drive innovation, operational excellence, and market leadership in Open Banking and digital payments
  • Own the P&L for Open Banking, ensuring budget efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of Open Banking initiatives; provide regular updates and insights to senior executives
  • Drive clarity and alignment on product roadmap priorities and delivery strategies, collaborating with regional and global leadership
  • Partner closely with engineering and technology leaders to ensure seamless integration of Open Banking solutions, from concept through delivery
  • Drive alignment between product and technology roadmaps, fostering a collaborative environment to accelerate innovation and resolve technical challenges
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging insights from both large organizations and scale-up environments
  • Oversee planning and execution of product launches, ensuring stakeholder alignment, resource readiness, and risk mitigation
  • Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams; foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Represent Visa in industry forums, regulatory discussions, and key partners to advance Open Banking initiatives
  • Support preparation for business reviews, leadership forums, and executive meetings
