Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of integrated communications across brand & sponsorship, newsroom content, and social media strategy for Visa’s Global Communications & Events Team
  • Establish a new function, elevate Visa’s newsroom capabilities, and build a best-in-class digital and social-first strategy and team
  • Develop and execute brand positioning strategies that align with corporate objectives and global campaigns
  • Support the office of the CMO and oversee the strategy and delivery of communications for all marketing activations
  • Oversee communications for global sponsorships, including sports, entertainment, and cause-related partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand values and audience engagement goals
  • Establish and operationalize a world-class newsroom within the Global Communications & Events Team to support and amplify the full scope of Visa’s business
  • Act as Editor-in-Chief for Visa Perspectives and the development of accompanying external newsletters, podcasts, and video series
  • Establish a centralized editorial calendar and governance model for Perspectives and all internal communications channels, ensuring message consistency, content quality, governance, and alignment with business priorities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to amplify product launches, corporate initiatives, and thought leadership across external and internal channels
  • Deliver a strategy for leveraging paid media and amplification to extend the reach and value of content and efforts
  • Leverage AI-driven tools and frameworks to optimize owned content for discoverability, personalization, and performance across digital channels
  • Oversee a global social media team to deliver always-on, data-driven content strategies across Visa’s dedicated news channels on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Drive thought leadership and executive visibility through social storytelling and influencer engagement
