The pay range starts at $167,300.00.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being in the NM DC Office 3 days per week.
Candidates need a minimum of 10 years of public policy experience including senior-level responsibilities in the legislative or executive branch, a proven track record of driving significant public policy outcomes, deep understanding of federal legislative and regulatory processes, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The role is part of a fast-paced team environment in the Washington, DC office, involving lobbying, networking that may require long days when Congress is in session, monthly travel including occasional weekends, and close collaboration with business teams.
Strong candidates will have significant expertise in insurance, tax, and/or financial services issues, a strong understanding of the life insurance industry, an extensive network across the federal government and public policy community, and a law degree from an accredited school, in addition to the minimum qualifications.
