Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required (advanced degree, CFA, or CAIA a plus)
  • Minimum of 3+ years investment or asset management experience
  • Sales experience in asset management, wealth management, or financial industry required
  • Passion for markets, investing, and portfolio construction with a commercial mindset
  • Strong communication skills with ability to connect and build relationships with internal partners and external clients
  • High level of self-motivation; ability to work independently with modest supervision
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and collaborate vertically/horizontally in a fast-paced environment
  • NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver subject matter expertise on BlackRock Model Portfolios
  • Implement customized portfolio solutions in conjunction with advisor’s investment goals
  • Deliver fiduciary and investment insights through portfolio construction conversations
  • Embrace data-driven segmentation and the BlackRock Engagement Model to drive deeper relationships
  • Profile clients to learn objectives and deploy appropriate resources
  • Partner with BlackRock’s Market Leaders, Product Strategists, and external partners to deliver full breadth of BlackRock’s investment solutions
  • Embrace technology to deliver exceptional client experience
  • Help advisors customize BlackRock’s model portfolios and improve portfolio construction processes using quantitative and qualitative insights
  • Partner with Market Leaders to deepen relationships with largest and fastest-growing financial advisors
  • Utilize Aladdin risk analytics platform to provide capital market and portfolio insights in an easy-to-understand way
