PayPay UX Writer (Junior/Mid-Level)

About PayPay

PayPay is a fintech company that has surpassed 70 million users in approximately 7 years since its service launch in 2018. Our team comprises diverse members from about 50 countries and regions.

OUR VISION IS UNLIMITED_

We believe that a clearly defined vision is not necessary to create a future beyond our imagination. PayPay aims to realize visions (futures) that no one can imagine by always maintaining a "Day 1" stance. We are looking for passionate professionals who will tackle this grand vision proactively, refine our products at an overwhelming speed that cannot be matched by others, and drive the adoption of cashless payments in Japan and the financial life platform using them. We seek individuals who can identify challenges independently and collaborate with others to create new value.

Please note that when applying to PayPay Corporation, we kindly request that you refrain from applying concurrently to PayPay Card Corporation or PayPay Securities Corporation.

About the Role

PayPay's product team is dedicated to resolving user inconveniences and providing new value at every touchpoint, starting with payments, not just QR code payments. Every word displayed within our service significantly impacts the user experience. We are seeking a UX Writer to collaborate with designers and drive product development with a user-centric approach.

  • Adhere to writing guidelines and propose optimal copy for users, considering design and development constraints.
  • Conduct internal and external research to create copy based on data.

Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese proficiency.
  • Either A or B:
    • A: 3+ years of experience in Japanese-English translation, OR 2+ years of experience in English-to-Japanese localization.
