Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in UX design, with an emphasis on complex product design
  • Strong proficiency in design tools (Axure, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
  • Solid background in user research, usability testing, and analysis
  • Ability to organize content effectively for intuitive navigation and usability
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills to communicate design rationale
  • Understanding of iterative design and Agile development practices
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with ability to partner effectively with developers
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG compliance)
  • Skilled in facilitating design critiques and heuristic reviews
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed to meet project goals
  • Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) – preferred
  • Hybrid work schedule: Minimum 3 days per week in Lake Saint Louis, MO office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required); ability to work up to 5 days as needed

Responsibilities

  • Own UX design for complex product areas, solving advanced user experience challenges with minimal oversight
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and surveys; translate findings into clear design improvements
  • Define user flows, interaction models, and information architecture; create high-fidelity prototypes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure UX vision and product strategy are aligned
  • Lead and participate in design critiques, offering constructive feedback and incorporating feedback from others
  • Contribute to and refine the design system to ensure product consistency and scalability
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles
  • Provide informal mentorship and feedback to junior designers
