Requirements

  • Ability to drive sales through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs
  • Knowledge of proper Customer/Member service approaches and techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines and standards
  • Expertise in compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center, including asset protection, safety controls, operational and quality assurance reviews
  • Skills in providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Proficiency in providing quality eyewear services: consulting/educating members/customers, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment
  • Capability to uphold the company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions
  • Ability to coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans/initiatives, identifying goals/objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, addressing improvements, and promoting continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Model, enforce, and provide direction/guidance to associates on customer/member service to ensure successful resolution of issues
  • Oversee implementation of and participate in community outreach programs; encourage associates to serve as good community members
  • Ensure compliance by analyzing/interpreting reports, implementing/monitoring controls, developing action plans, providing direction on company programs/initiatives, and directing associates on confidentiality
  • Provide supervision and development for Vision Center associates (hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, belonging mindset)
  • Ensure provision of quality eyewear through consultations, product selection, measurements, prescription verification, confidentiality, minor repairs, and equipment maintenance
  • Uphold Open Door Policy: meet with associates, listen to concerns, research issues, review policies, suggest resolutions
  • Coordinate/oversee job-related activities/assignments: maintain stakeholder relationships, support plans/initiatives, communicate goals, build accountability, measure progress, identify improvements, demonstrate adaptability, promote learning
  • Support company policies/procedures, mission/values/ethics by implementing action plans, utilizing Open Door Policy, providing guidance on business processes
  • Build high-performing teams, embrace differences, create belonging culture, empower/develop talent, recognize contributions
