Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of tire and battery services, safety and compliance protocols, equipment operations, TPMS, tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality
  • Expertise in leveraging digital tools, handheld technology, and new products/technologies
  • Ability to train and develop team members, monitor e-learnings, and source new talent
  • Skills in operational tasks including inventory management, audits, paperwork, cash register operations, transaction processing, staffing, scheduling, and expense controls
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to supervise teams, set expectations, and drive business results

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver safe, efficient services and meet business goals
  • Communicate department goals, set guidelines, execute company programs, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Maintain and share expertise on business operations, train the team on products/technologies, and ensure consistent daily processes
  • Leverage digital tools for sales planning, service improvement, associate engagement, and real-time business decisions
  • Drive operational excellence: maintain clean/safe work areas, order supplies, track returns/special orders, assist in staffing/scheduling, process transactions, and support member service hands-on
  • Ensure accurate inventory, audits, safety, compliance, and complete required documentation
  • Train team for effectiveness, monitor trainings, identify potential, develop skills, and encourage career growth
  • Develop/implement processes by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing data, monitoring progress, and addressing improvements
  • Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity through guidance and action plans
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources, determining priorities, coordinating assignments, providing feedback, and adapting to changes
