Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver on the business plan, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and company
  • Maintain and share expertise in tire and battery services, train the team on products, technologies, and processes, and attend training for continuous improvement
  • Leverage digital tools and handheld technology for planning sales, improving service, elevating engagement, and making immediate business decisions
  • Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, maintain neat, clean, safe work area, order supplies, track returns/special orders, assist in staffing/scheduling, operate cash registers, and work hands-on in the area
  • Maintain accurate inventory, audit safety/compliance standards, complete paperwork, logs, and documentation, and model member service commitment
  • Train and monitor associates for e-learnings/trainings, identify potential, develop skills, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, analyzing information, monitoring results, and identifying improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, procedures, ethics by guiding execution, implementing action plans, and assisting with corrections
  • Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, determining needs/priorities, coordinating assignments, providing feedback/support, ensuring timelines/quality, and modeling adaptation to change
