Requirements

  • Knowledge of applicable company policies and procedures regarding selection, recruiting, record retention, and training, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, promoting a belonging mindset, providing recognition, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws
  • Hold hourly Associates accountable by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality standards, overseeing reviews, developing action plans, ensuring confidentiality, and providing direction on company programs and initiatives
  • Manage financial performance by creating budgets, monitoring sales/expenses/wages, achieving sales/profit goals, correcting deficiencies, maintaining staffing levels, and scheduling/training associates
  • Collaborate with management team on opening/closing procedures, transitions, merchandising opportunities, scheduling concerns, associate issues, escalations, resources, and special instructions
  • Increase Member experience and engagement by ensuring service levels, merchandise presentation (pricing, signage, instock/inventory), requesting merchandise, and guiding associates on Member service to resolve issues per policies
  • Ensure membership growth by building Member relationships, making business visits, and training/scheduling associates
  • Drive sales through effective merchandise presentation, pricing, signing, inventory, cleanliness, stocking/rotation, removal of damaged goods, displays, securing merchandise, and expense monitoring
  • Oversee and enforce food safety standards, cold chain compliance, and merchandise quality by evaluating temperature/storage/sanitation/coding/rotation/recalls and training associates
  • Coordinate job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans/initiatives, communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, identifying improvements, and promoting adaptability/continuous learning
