Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, TourtoTeach, communicating/collaborating on operations, initiatives, merchandising, change efforts, expectations, guidance, and business objectives
  • Model exceptional customer service standards, manage/support initiatives (e.g., store of the community, outreach), resolve customer issues, develop/implement action plans, provide process improvement leadership
  • Drive financial performance/sales in designated store area: review P&L, manage budgeting/forecasting/expenses, ensure merchandise presentation/seasonal transitions/inventory flow/operations, implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales/profit goals
  • Provide supervision/development for hourly associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, provide recognition, communicate consistently, promote belonging mindset, recruit/develop for staffing/growth
  • Coordinate/complete/oversee job-related activities: develop stakeholder relationships, support plans/initiatives, identify/communicate goals/objectives, build accountability, measure progress, address improvements, demonstrate adaptability, promote learning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics/integrity, implement action plans, utilize Open Door Policy, provide direction/guidance on business processes/practices
