Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs
  • Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
  • Develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing expert advice and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs
  • Support implementation of business solutions by identifying needs, carrying out processes, monitoring results, and adapting to demands/changes
  • Model, enforce, and guide associates on proper customer service approaches to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines
  • Model compliance with company policies/procedures and support ethics/integrity through business plans and Open Door Policy
  • Ensure compliance with company/legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing controls, overseeing reviews, and directing programs/initiatives
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering immunizations and Walmart programs, in compliance with regulations
  • Create a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; communicate expectations; hold others accountable for SOPs and quality goals
  • Ensure counseling on new therapy/items as requested/required, with documentation; analyze/improve team knowledge on safety/risk reduction
  • Promote error reporting/transparency and write timely plans of action for root cause correction
  • Foster environment for healthcare compliance execution; train/guide on compliance initiatives, monitor execution
  • Implement compliance priorities, ensure operational execution of billing/HIPAA/SOPs, utilize auditing for improvements
