Requirements

  • Knowledge of Requirement And Scoping Analysis, including traceability matrix, risk analysis methodologies, cost analysis, business objectives, classification of requirements, and user stories
  • Ability to understand business/stakeholder/technical requirements and analyze existing solutions (especially in agile methodology for iterations)
  • Knowledge of Coding standards and guidelines, coding languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#), frameworks (e.g., ActiveX, .Net, Cocoa, Android application framework), tools (e.g., Monday.com, Linx, Embold), and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Apple iOS)
  • Knowledge of quality, safety, and security (e.g., PCI) standards, emerging tools and technologies, and telemetry
  • Ability to create/configure minimalistic code for entire component/application meeting business/technical, non-functional, low-maintainability, high-availability, and high-scalability needs
  • Ability to assist in selecting appropriate languages, development standards, and tools for software coding/configuration
  • Initiative to learn fundamentals of different coding languages and frameworks for future scope
  • Ability to build scripts for automation of repetitive tasks in CI/CD, testing, or other processes
  • Ability to implement telemetry features independently and ensure security policy requirements

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to develop high-level design by partnering with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams
  • Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information, performing root cause analysis, engaging support teams, developing solutions, driving action plans, interpreting results, and completing documentation
  • Manages small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing requirements, translating them into technical solutions, researching alternatives, determining solutions based on ROI and business value, gathering information, writing and developing code, conducting unit testing, communicating status/issues, collaborating with teams, identifying opportunities, ensuring sustainable solutions, troubleshooting issues/bug-fixes, and ensuring on-time delivery/hand-offs
  • Provides support to the business by responding to user questions/concerns/issues (e.g., technical feasibility, implementation strategies), researching solutions, determining designs, providing guidance on system implications, identifying short/long-term solutions, and directing users to appropriate contacts
  • Assists in providing guidance to small groups of 2-3 engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned projects by providing documents, directions, examples, and timelines
  • Prepares requirement traceability matrix and maintains traceability between business requirements, functional requirements, design, and test cases
  • Contributes to the creation of user stories for component/module/simple requirements (e.g., based on scalability in agile methodology)
