Responsibilities

  • Performs routine preventive maintenance on facilities equipment or fixtures by inspecting, cleaning, repairing, documenting wear and tear, recommending repairs/replacements, and gathering capital expense information
  • Performs major and minor repairs on facilities equipment or fixtures, including dismantling, diagnosing, and replacing parts
  • Oversees work of junior-level associates, determines scopes of work, acts as job foreman, provides onsite training, and ensures quality, safety, and code compliance
  • Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors by completing documentation (e.g., expense vouchers, work orders, logs), ordering parts, tracking inventory, compiling budgets, and ensuring contractor compliance
  • Responds promptly to emergency calls and performs onsite repairs
  • Develops relationships with local parts suppliers and contractors
  • Unloads, stores, and transports equipment between facilities
  • Provides expert advice, supports business solutions, builds stakeholder relationships, monitors progress, and adapts to changes
  • Models compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and values; demonstrates respect for individuals and fosters a positive workplace culture
