Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Produce and Floral team to deliver on the business plan and contribute to club success
  • Communicate department goals, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and company
  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders to meet member expectations across the club
  • Maintain produce area standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment, safety, and compliance
  • Manage seasonality in item volume, product knowledge, processes, and task prioritization
  • Collaborate with associates, ensure resources availability, share knowledge, and train the team
  • Leverage digital tools to plan sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and make real-time decisions on production, training, and quality
  • Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain neat, clean, safe work areas
  • Maintain adequate staffing, accurate audits, compliance, produce and display merchandise per layout plan, and model member service
  • Teach and train team for effectiveness, identify potential, develop skills for high-quality products
  • Encourage career growth and source new talent internally and externally
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes by collaborating, analyzing data, monitoring results, and identifying improvements
