Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Produce and Floral team to deliver on the business plan and contribute to club success
  • Communicate department goals, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the club meets member expectations
  • Maintain produce area standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment, safety, and compliance
  • Manage seasonality and ensure team has resources, knowledge, and training
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • Use handheld technology for immediate decisions on production, training, and product quality; adopt and encourage new tools
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, neat/clean/safe work areas, staffing, audits, compliance, and merchandise layout
  • Teach, train, and develop team skills for high-quality products and member service; encourage career growth and source talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes by collaborating, analyzing data, monitoring results, and addressing improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, ethics, and integrity; use Open Door Policy and assist with corrections
