Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive patient care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and administering other Walmart-developed programs
  • Drives sales and profit in Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, instock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, developing cross-functional relationships, and assessing economic trends and demographics
  • Models, enforces, and provides direction on proper customer service approaches to resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines
  • Oversees implementation of and participates in community outreach programs; encourages Associates to serve as good community members
  • Ensures compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety/operational/quality assurance reviews, developing action plans, and directing company programs and initiatives
  • Provides supervision and development for Associates by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing performance feedback, recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Ensures confidentiality of information, documentation, and records per company policies and guidelines
  • Manages Pharmacy Operations: conducts Associate meetings to address needs/concerns/issues, aligns operations with company/regulatory standards, ensures adherence to policies/procedures, documents changes in products/procedures and shares with Associates/Managers
  • Oversees Inventory Flow: monitors process to identify merchandise needs, ensures proper execution, monitors/evaluates facility for inventory problems
  • Manages Finances: interprets/analyzes/explains financial data, manages budgets to align with business needs, accounts for/reports assets/liabilities/revenues/expenses, complies with financial policies, compiles/evaluates data, monitors trends for market changes/opportunities
  • Creates a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; communicates expectations, holds others accountable for SOPs and quality/safety goals; ensures counseling/information on new therapy/items as requested/required with documentation; analyzes/improves team knowledge on patient safety/risk reduction; promotes reporting
