Requirements

  • Supervisory skills including hiring, training, mentoring associates, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Experience recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and company growth
  • Competence in coordinating job-related activities, developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans/initiatives, setting goals, building accountability, measuring progress, addressing improvements, and promoting continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, communicating/collaborating on operations, utilizing technology/business initiatives/merchandising/company direction, introducing change efforts, providing expectations/guidance, and communicating objectives
  • Model exceptional customer service standards, manage/support initiatives (e.g., community programs), resolve customer needs/complaints/issues, develop/implement action plans for deficiencies, and lead process improvements for high-quality customer experience
  • Drive financial performance/sales by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgeting/forecasting/expenses, ensuring merchandise presentation/seasonal transitions/inventory flow/operations, and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales/profit goals
  • Provide supervision/development for hourly associates via hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognition, consistent communication, promoting belonging mindset, and recruiting/developing talent
  • Coordinate/complete/oversee job activities by maintaining stakeholder relationships, supporting customer/business plans/initiatives, identifying/communicating goals/objectives, building/measuring accountability/progress, addressing improvements, demonstrating adaptability, and promoting continuous learning
  • Ensure compliance with policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics/integrity via action plans, utilize Open Door Policy, and provide direction/guidance on business processes/practices
