Requirements

  • Ability to lead and develop teams through teaching, training, active listening, touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating via Tour to Teach
  • Proficiency in communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates on store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction

  • Ability to develop action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales/profit goals
  • Supervisory skills including hiring, training, mentoring associates, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Experience recruiting and developing associates to meet staffing needs and company growth

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating store operations, initiatives, merchandising, and company direction
  • Introduce and lead change efforts, provide expectations/guidance for business solutions, and communicate objectives to teams
  • Model/demonstrate exceptional customer service using OBW, manage/support initiatives (e.g., store of the community, outreach), resolve customer issues, develop action plans, and lead process improvements
  • Drive financial performance/sales by reviewing P&L, managing budgeting/forecasting/expenses, ensuring merchandise presentation/inventory/operations, and implementing shrink mitigation plans
  • Provide supervision/development for hourly associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, recognize, communicate consistently, promote belonging, and recruit for staffing/growth
  • Coordinate/ complete/ oversee job activities: develop stakeholder relationships, support customer/business plans, identify/communicate goals, build accountability, measure progress, address improvements, demonstrate adaptability, promote learning
  • Ensure compliance with policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics via action plans, utilize Open Door Policy, and guide business processes
  • Build high-performing teams, embrace differences, foster belonging culture, create thriving opportunities
