Requirements

  • Supervisory skills including hiring, training, mentoring associates, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Ability to recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and company growth
  • Competence in coordinating job-related activities, developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans/initiatives, identifying goals/objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, addressing improvements, demonstrating adaptability, and promoting continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, Tour to Teach, communicating/collaborating on operations, initiatives, merchandising, and company direction
  • Introduce/lead change efforts, provide expectations/guidance for business solutions, communicate objectives to teams
  • Model/demonstrate customer service standards, manage/support initiatives (e.g., store of the community, outreach), resolve customer issues, develop/implement action plans for deficiencies, lead process improvements
  • Drive financial performance/sales by reviewing P&L, managing budgeting/forecasting/expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation/inventory/operations, implement action plans for shrink/sales/profit goals
  • Provide supervision/development for hourly associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, recognize, communicate consistently, promote belonging, recruit/develop for staffing/growth
  • Coordinate/complete/oversee job activities: maintain stakeholder relationships, support plans/initiatives, identify/communicate goals, build/measure accountability, address improvements, promote learning/adaptability
  • Ensure compliance with policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics/integrity via action plans, utilize Open Door Policy, provide direction on business processes
