Requirements
- Ability to lead and develop teams through teaching, training, active listening, touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating effectively with all levels of associates
- Proficiency in utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction to introduce and lead change efforts
- Experience in modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards, following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, resolving complaints, and implementing action plans for process improvements
- Skills in driving financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, operational processes, and mitigating shrink
- Capability to provide supervision and development for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
- Ability to coordinate and oversee job-related activities, develop relationships with stakeholders, identify goals, measure progress, address improvements, and demonstrate adaptability
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, mission, values, ethics, and integrity, with ability to implement action plans and support the Open Door Policy

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback (Tour to Teach), communicating/collaborating on store operations, and providing clear expectations/guidance for business solutions
- Model exceptional customer service, manage/support initiatives (e.g., store of the community, outreach), resolve customer issues, develop action plans to correct deficiencies, and provide process improvement leadership
- Drive financial performance and sales in designated store area by reviewing P&L, managing budgeting/forecasting/expenses, ensuring merchandise presentation/seasonal transitions/inventory flow/operational processes, and implementing action plans to achieve sales/profit goals and mitigate shrink
- Provide supervision/development for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, communicating consistently, promoting belonging mindset, and recruiting to meet staffing needs
- Coordinate/complete/oversee job-related activities by maintaining stakeholder relationships, supporting plans/initiatives, identifying/communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, addressing improvements, and promoting continuous learning
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics/integrity by implementing action plans, utilizing Open Door Policy, and providing direction on business processes
- Build high-performing teams, embrace differences, create belonging culture, work collaboratively, attract/retain/develop talent, recognize contributions, maintain integrity/ethics/compliance, and support regenerative company goals
