Requirements

  • Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center
  • Analyzes and interprets reports, implements and monitors asset protection and safety controls
  • Oversees safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews; develops and implements action plans to improve performance
  • Provides direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives
  • Directs Vision Center Associates in ensuring confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records
  • Consults with and educates Members/Customers, selects products based on needs, obtains measurements, verifies prescriptions
  • Performs minor frame repair and maintains Optical equipment
  • Upholds the Company's Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions
  • Builds high-performing teams, embraces differences, creates a culture of belonging

Responsibilities

  • Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels
  • Budgets and forecasts sales; assesses economic trends and community needs
  • Models, enforces, and provides direction and guidance to Associates on proper Customer/Member service approaches and techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines
  • Oversees implementation of and participates in community outreach programs; encourages Associates to serve as good community members
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments; develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders
  • Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifies and communicates goals and objectives
  • Builds accountability for and measures progress in achieving results; identifies and addresses improvement opportunities
  • Demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning
  • Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating Members/Customers
