Requirements

  • Ability to initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs, including establishing relationships with key community individuals/groups and representing the company externally
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance standards, with skills in analyzing reports and implementing action plans
  • Experience in supervising, hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, and developing hourly associates, including promoting a belonging mindset and providing feedback
  • Proficiency in modeling exceptional customer service using the One Best Way (OBW) service model, resolving customer issues, and leading process improvements
  • Skills in driving financial performance, including reviewing P&L statements, controlling expenses, forecasting budgets, and analyzing economic trends/community needs
  • Ability to coordinate job-related activities, build stakeholder relationships, set goals, measure progress, and promote continuous learning/adaptability

Responsibilities

  • Encourage and support associates/managers in community outreach, champion company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts
  • Hold associates accountable for compliance, implement/monitor safety and asset protection controls, oversee operational reviews, and develop action plans for deficiencies
  • Provide supervision/development for associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, evaluate performance, recognize achievements, set/communicate expectations
  • Model/demonstrate customer service standards, manage initiatives, resolve complaints/issues, and implement action plans for high-quality customer experience
  • Assist store manager in achieving sales/profit goals, control expenses, develop financial correction plans, and participate in budget forecasting
  • Develop/maintain stakeholder relationships, support business/customer needs, identify goals/objectives, build accountability, and address improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with policies, support ethics/integrity standards, and utilize Open Door Policy in business processes
  • Build high-performing teams, embrace diversity, foster belonging culture, work collaboratively, attract/retain talent, and hold self/others accountable to Walmart values
