Responsibilities

  • Ensure area of responsibility is maintained per company policies by handling returns, zoning the area, arranging/organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink/damages
  • Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing receipts, acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
  • Maintain self-checkout area, resolve member issues/concerns, promote Sam's Club products/services, provide guidance on self-service technology, process purchases, assist with payments/returns/refunds/exchanges per policies for different membership/payment types
  • Secure/safeguard Sam's Club assets/property by observing/communicating potential criminal activity, maintaining paperwork/logs/documentation, executing emergency response procedures, ensuring compliance with security/safety practices
  • Assist with training Member Frontline Service associates on company processes/procedures, new technology/tool functionality, new program rollouts, and providing continuous learning/process improvement
  • Determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities
