Responsibilities

  • Ensures area of responsibility is maintained by handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
  • Provides member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing receipts, acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and locating merchandise
  • Maintains self-checkout area, resolves member issues, promotes Sam's Club products and services, provides guidance on self-service technology, processes purchases, and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to policies
  • Assists with securing and safeguarding assets by observing and communicating potential criminal activity, maintaining documentation, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices
  • Assists with training Member Frontline Service associates on processes, procedures, new technology, tool functionality, program rollouts, and providing continuous learning opportunities
  • Implements related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applies policies in business processes
  • Identifies priorities, deadlines, expectations, carries out tasks, communicates progress, and recommends improvements
  • Creates a culture of belonging, supports associates, helps attract talent, mentors others, and recognizes contributions (Respect the Individual)
