Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and conducting performance evaluations
  • Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and support for mission, values, ethics, integrity, and Open Door Policy
  • Drive and implement business plans for assigned area to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety) and operational improvements
  • Supervise and manage warehouse associates and leaders by giving direction, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and identifying training needs
  • Participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates, leaders, and managers
  • Drive execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying needs, developing plans, removing barriers, providing resources, measuring progress, and adjusting performance
  • Promote and support company policies by training others, ensuring compliance, and utilizing Open Door Policy
  • Evaluate effectiveness of plans, programs, and initiatives; consult stakeholders; apply suggestions for efficiency and cost-effectiveness; support community outreach
