Requirements

  • Proficiency in driving financial performance: reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, operational processes, mitigating shrink, and achieving sales/profit goals
  • Supervisory experience: hiring, training, mentoring associates, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, promoting belonging mindset, and recruiting for staffing needs
  • Ability to coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities, develop stakeholder relationships, support plans/initiatives, set goals, measure progress, identify improvements, demonstrate adaptability, and promote continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, actively listening, touring stores, providing feedback, communicating/collaborating on operations, initiatives, merchandising, and company direction
  • Introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations/guidance for business solutions, and communicate objectives to teams
  • Model exceptional customer service standards, manage/support initiatives (e.g., community programs), resolve customer issues, develop/implement action plans, and lead process improvements for high-quality customer experience
  • Drive financial performance and sales: review P&L, manage budgeting/forecasting/expenses, ensure merchandise presentation/inventory/operations, develop action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales/profit goals
  • Provide supervision/development for hourly associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, recognize, promote belonging, recruit to meet staffing/growth needs
  • Coordinate/oversight job activities: maintain stakeholder relationships, support plans/initiatives, identify/communicate goals, build accountability, measure progress, address improvements, promote learning/adaptability
  • Ensure compliance with policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics/integrity via action plans, Open Door Policy, and guidance on business processes
  • Build high-performing teams, embrace differences, create belonging culture, collaborate effectively, attract/retain/develop talent
