Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback (Tour to Teach), communicating/collaborating on store operations, and implementing business solutions
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service, manage/support initiatives (e.g., store of the community, outreach), resolve customer issues, and provide process improvement leadership
  • Drive financial performance and sales in designated store area by reviewing P&L, managing budgeting/forecasting/expenses, ensuring merchandise presentation/inventory/operations, and developing action plans for sales/profit goals and shrink mitigation
  • Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, promoting belonging, and recruiting to meet staffing needs
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by maintaining stakeholder relationships, supporting plans/initiatives, identifying goals/objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics/integrity, implement action plans, utilize Open Door Policy, and provide guidance on business processes
