Responsibilities

  • Direct management team in all facility operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, asset protection, inventory control, member service, and safety
  • Drive membership and sales growth by visiting business members, building relationships, directing managers in member development, and motivating the sales team
  • Increase member experience quality through appropriate service levels, effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, in-stock maintenance, and merchandise requests
  • Drive financial performance by achieving budgeted sales, membership, wages, and expenses; control costs, implement improvement plans, create budgets, and analyze trends
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal standards by analyzing reports, monitoring HR, asset protection, safety controls, and directing execution of programs
  • Initiate community outreach, support associates in community service, maintain relationships with key groups, represent the company, and champion sponsored programs
  • Provide guidance to management and associates on member service approaches, resolve complaints, assist with purchases, and answer questions
  • Supervise and develop management and hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, duty assignment, recognition, and fostering belonging
  • Uphold Open Door Policy by meeting associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and providing resolutions
  • Oversee food safety, cold chain compliance, and merchandise quality by evaluating temperature, storage, sanitation, date coding, rotation, labels, recalls, and fresh area forecasting
