Responsibilities

  • Implements the business plan for assigned area by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals
  • Identifies associate, customer, and supplier concerns by listening, consulting others, determining corrective actions, or making recommendations to resolve concerns
  • Monitors and manages productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports
  • Maintains quality and safety standards by training associates on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, distributing procedures and documentation
  • Supervises and develops associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training needs, participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation
  • Manages maintenance and installation of systems, hardware, and software by overseeing installations, ensuring repairs, tracking inventory, and ordering components
  • Manages troubleshooting of systems and applications by working with Information Systems Division and vendors, supporting development of current and future systems
  • Provides and supports implementation of business solutions by building relationships with stakeholders, identifying needs, carrying out processes, monitoring progress, recognizing improvements, adapting to changes
