Requirements
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in health services research, bioinformatics, population health, or a similar field of quantitative research, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field. They should demonstrate experience in authoring peer-review publications and white papers, and possess strong ability for compiling research requirements to drive downstream activities and teams. Furthermore, candidates are expected to have demonstrated application of advanced analytic skills in at least two areas such as analytic discovery, descriptive statistics, forecasting, multivariate modeling, experimental design, statistical inference, matching, machine learning, or predictive models.
Responsibilities
The Senior Research Scientist, Life Sciences will design, direct, and implement research studies, defining research objectives, formulating hypotheses, and selecting experimental designs. They will collaborate with other scientists and stakeholders, contribute to the scientific community by publishing research findings and presenting at conferences, and prepare research proposals and project reports. Additionally, this role involves data collection and analysis using specialized software and statistical techniques, and writing grant proposals.
