Proficiency in Python and/or R is essential, and the ability to communicate complex AI safety findings to diverse audiences is expected. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of independently scoping projects and solving novel problems. Bonus qualifications include prior experience in clinical research settings or working with IRBs/DSMBs, hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and MLOps frameworks, demonstrated passion for advancing AI safety and ethics in healthcare, experience building data pipelines and automation scripts, and experience with A/B tests.
