Requirements

  • Leadership experience in managing a team of Technical Architects in presales, particularly for Data Services and Storage
  • Ability to enable team success, development, and growth while partnering with sales managers
  • Strong collaboration skills to operate across presales ecosystem and engage with technical and global stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Data Services & Storage portfolio, including block storage, unstructured data (file and object workloads), and data protection
  • Customer engagement focus to maintain satisfaction and build strategic executive relationships with clients and partners
  • Internal relationship-building with sales and company management at all levels
  • Business acumen in monitoring operations, financial/legal concepts, and developing business recommendations
  • Coaching and performance management skills for individual contributors and teams
  • Leadership to model selling skills, motivate teams, and foster a high-performance culture

Responsibilities

  • Manage a group of Presales resources for account or shared resource support
  • Create presales utilization plans reflecting requirements and opportunities in area of control
  • Provide resource management and intra-region support, collaborating with peers to address coverage gaps and leverage expertise to win opportunities
  • Partner with Sales on account planning, assist in sales strategy, prioritize resources, and assess sales pipelines for timely presales support
  • Contribute to and build the Presales organization culture, ensuring best-in-class experience and connecting functions
  • Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and improve operations for alignment with business direction, quality practices, performance, and motivation
  • Assess and manage employee performance, coach through selling challenges, and handle high/low performers
  • Model effective selling skills, motivate and support presales teams
  • Set direction, manage deliverables, achieve revenue and expense objectives, and enable best-in-class customer solutions
