Requirements

  • Approximately 6-8 years of related work experience in research and insights with a particular focus on consumer and/or retail
  • Have led insights projects in UK and understand UK consumers
  • Strong research and insights technical skills: Demonstrable experience designing, planning and managing primary and secondary, qualitative and quantitative research using advanced methodologies (e.g. Semiotics, Conjoint) and the latest research techniques (e.g. agile, AI)
  • A proven ability to distill actionable insights from complex data and explain findings in a compelling manner
  • Ability to guide the strategic direction of the market with actionable insights and deeply rooted consumer centricity
  • Able to work on complex business issues and on projects that are related to critical business needs (e.g., insights to influence a strategic initiative)
  • High level of business acumen. Understand company strategy and priorities and manages insights work with this in mind
  • Can manage multiple projects of longer-term duration and supports multiple internal business partners, with effective prioritization of efforts and resources
  • Can respectfully challenge or defend decisions and implementation. Proactively raises issues that the business needs to act upon and brings relevant insights to guide decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Leads and executes the UK learning and research plan, becoming a consultant, consumer expert and thought leader to the UK business ensuring plans are deeply rooted in consumer centricity. Brings a point of view, provides clarity and puts the customer voice in context, connecting the dots and inspiring action
  • Drives action and impact from the insights generated with senior management; serves as thought partner and consultant to the UK LT team. Translates insights into action and solutions to business problems and critical issues
  • Authors executive level reports and makes informed recommendations to key senior business partners that lead to action
  • Builds strong relationships with a diverse set of cross-functional business partners to understand their challenges and priorities, define research roadmap, and drive actions through insight delivery. Gathers diverse ideas across an org and aligns on a mutually agreed upon direction
  • Monthly reporting on consumer metrics
