Responsibilities

Lead the UI team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering collaboration; act as lead for user engagement
Meet regularly with program leadership and management to discuss project status, roadmaps, and strategic UI/UX initiatives
Work closely with Data and Analytics SME, Solution Architect, and Product Manager to define and refine features, aligning UI/UX with data capabilities and architectural vision
Collaborate with Product to define and refine requirements for UI features, translating high-level concepts into actionable design and development tasks
Proactively engage with users to understand workflows, pain points, and preferences; gather feedback to refine designs and validate solutions
Assist with creation and management of Jira content, workflows, and boards to streamline UI/UX team tasks
Oversee software, visual, and UX design, ensuring consistency, usability, and aesthetic appeal
Develop and enforce UI/UX standards, design rules, and style guides
Lead creation of interactive prototypes and mock-ups to visualize concepts, gather feedback, and iterate
Spearhead development of future UI/UX concepts, anticipating user needs and technological advancements
Analyze and improve current UI/UX workflows and processes for efficiency and user-friendliness
Work with external groups providing core UI components ("plumage") to propose and guide updates
