Requirements

  • 1–3 years experience preferred in any manufacturing and maintenance
  • Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Twisting experience is required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of day-to-day operations in the Twisting department
  • Organizing shift schedules for team members
  • Monitoring attendance, tardiness, and time off
  • Assigning duties to specific employees based on role and skills
  • Supervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessary
  • Training new and current team members on tasks
  • Adhering to company policies and health, safety, and employment standards
  • Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner
  • Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments
  • Drive and perform lift truck safety inspection checklist daily
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor
