Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tree climbing and arbor care
  • Strong knowledge of tree biology, diseases, pests, structural issues, treatment methods, and proper pruning techniques
  • Proficiency in the use of climbing equipment and techniques
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail
  • Certified Arborist credentials from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices
  • Provide proficient rope and saddle climbing, bucket truck operation, aerial lift operations, chipper operation, onsite safety protocols, pruning, rigging, and A300 standards for tree care operations
  • Exercise extensive knowledge of tree species, pruning practices, identification of hazards and defects, and ability to safely navigate them (in particular, palm trees)
  • Plan and execute tree maintenance, removal, and planting projects
  • Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations for tree care services
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional client service
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and safety inspections
  • Maintain equipment to ensure it is functioning properly
