Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, data gathering, and analysis skills
  • Strong Excel skills; basic knowledge of at least one computer coding language (VBA, SQL) preferred
  • High level of intellectual curiosity, including the inclination and ability to understand the drivers of financial results and the overall financial picture of the organization
  • High level of professional maturity; verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with senior management
  • Strong drive, ambition, and self-motivation; ‘self-starter’ with the ability to independently resolve day-to-day issues

Responsibilities

  • Help plan and prepare daily borrowing requests to banking partners
  • Evaluate and monitor the eligibility of assets for inclusion in credit facilities, loan sales, and securitizations
  • Produce and deliver monthly performance reports to third-party loan buyers
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials for third parties and investors
  • Assist in executing and managing various financing transactions by producing reports, data, and analysis as needed for due diligence
  • Help to engage and manage various third-party relationships across bank and securitization transactions
  • Perform daily and monthly processes in support of borrowing from commercial banks, issuing securitization transactions, and executing loan sales
