Requirements

  • Knowledge of industry topics, workflows, and procedures (e.g., proposals, loss summaries, summaries of insurance, policy checking, change requests, audit reviews, certificates of insurance, evidence of property, ID cards, marketing submissions)
  • Familiarity with tools and systems such as Epic, Outlook, Webex, Teams, SharePoint, M365, Adobe, Workday, Total CSR, SWARM
  • Ability to facilitate virtual, in-person, or hybrid training sessions
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills for tracking training completion and documentation
  • Capability to shadow employees and provide hands-on mentoring
  • Awareness of industry trends, regulations, best practices, continuing education (CE) opportunities, certifications, and seminars

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate comprehensive onboarding for all new employees, including walkthrough of Epic Welcome Kit, introductory Epic training, Outlook signature, Webex voicemail, Teams overview, fax procedures, SharePoint navigation, M365/Adobe training, Total CSR registration, Workday trainings, reports review, and SWARM process
  • Conduct refresher training for existing employees upon request from team leads or managers
  • Serve as a resource for Division employees, assisting with workflow, process, and resource-related questions
  • Support leadership by guiding employees through cleanup projects and operational initiatives
  • Assist with tracking training completion and maintaining accurate training documentation
  • Participate in onboarding meetings and scheduled training sessions as assigned
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for employee training and development activities
  • Shadow new employees during their first year to ensure hands-on training and workflow understanding
  • Participate in regular meetings with managers and team leads to identify employees ready for advancement
  • Coordinate targeted training and support for employees preparing for career progression or specialized roles
  • Schedule and facilitate ongoing training sessions covering industry fundamentals, systems, and role-specific skills
  • Communicate available CE opportunities, certifications, and industry seminars
  • Collaborate with operations, placement, and sales leaders to identify training needs and align with business objectives
  • Support leadership in monitoring employee progress through assessments, feedback, and performance reviews
  • Coordinate with external vendors and subject matter experts for specialized training
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to keep training relevant
  • Act as a mentor to new hires and existing employees, offering guidance, resources, and ongoing support
