Job Description: Training Specialist

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person, hands-on, and remote training to sites and CROs, along with required documentation.
  • Create and deliver product and study-specific training presentations to sites, CROs, and sponsor personnel.
  • Conduct hands-on training for sites, CROs, and sponsor personnel.
  • Work closely with project teams and sponsors to develop training delivery strategies specific to study scope and complexity.
  • Collaborate with product management and other internal groups to learn new products and processes.
  • Work with the support team to resolve help desk escalations.
  • Evaluate workflows in other departments for needed updates to ETD (Electronic Trial Documentation) templates to keep training information current.
  • Maintain knowledge of current product releases.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly project calls to discuss training needs and site-level issues specific to knowledge and training, when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Skills Needed:

  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be flexible and focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.
  • A valid passport or the ability to acquire one is required.

Nice to Have Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in education, business, or a science-related subject preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience delivering technical training.
  • Knowledge of clinical trials or other regulated industries preferred.
  • Multilingual ability preferred.
