Requirements

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and 3-4 years of hands-on experience in customs operations, import/export documentation, or international trade. Experience with HTS & ECCN is a plus. Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, Customs regulations, compliance requirements, and import/export documentation is essential, along with proficiency in Oracle GTM software and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Trade Operations Specialist will review and release transactions on system hold by analyzing reasons and following escalation paths. They will ensure all import/export transactions comply with local, national, and international customs regulations, including accurate tariff classifications, duties, and taxes. Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and submitting necessary customs documentation, liaising with internal teams to facilitate timely shipment release, and identifying and mitigating potential compliance risks. The specialist will also recommend and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations and collaborate with logistics, procurement, and business partners to ensure smooth cross-border movement of goods.
