Tire Service Advisor

Position Overview

Dealer Tire is seeking an innovative and driven Tire Service Advisor to work inside a premium OEM dealership. Compensation

  • Base Pay Range: $27.78 - $30.25 per hour
  • Targeted Annual Commission: $10,800
  • Guaranteed Commission: Provided for up to two months during training and onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Sell tires to customers on the service drive to exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Inspect customers’ cars on the service drive.
  • Diagnose tire-related problems, recommend service, and quote prices.
  • Ensure necessary repairs are completed as ordered and priced as quoted.
  • Maintain strong, effective relationships with customers and dealer personnel.
  • Oversee customer satisfaction and resolve arising problems.
  • Complete monthly market analyses.
  • Assist in store operations, including maintaining inventory and opening/closing procedures.
  • Assist dealership technicians to ensure service levels are maintained.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of tire service experience, preferably in a retail tire and service environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office and online order management applications.
  • Must meet the requirements of Dealer Tire’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy.
  • May be required to operate a motor vehicle.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to be on your feet 7-8 hours a day.
  • Ability to keep up with service drive traffic and inspect 80-100 vehicles per day.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.
