  • Ability to participate in atypical work schedules
  • Not affected by strong magnetic fields (e.g., no pacemakers or similar medical devices)
  • Above and Beyond Qualifications
  • Experience in implementing test setups for electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance testing
  • Experience with rotating machinery testing
  • Background in aerospace industry applications
  • Working knowledge of high voltage equipment
  • Working knowledge of electric drives and motors
  • Mechanical experience, including familiarity with A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) practices or similar hands-on technical skills
  • Experience with Matlab, Labview, Python or other data acquisition and analysis software

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly of test fixtures, including both mechanical and electrical/wiring assembly
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve test equipment for both internally developed and externally purchased systems
  • Contribute to the development and execution of test procedures, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness
  • Setup, execution, and support of tests for aircraft electric motors, inverters, and associated components
  • Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results
