Requirements

Proficiency in operating hand and power tools
Experience with wiring and electrical assembly
Ability to read and interpret component & assembly drawings
Ability to perform basic inspection of components using inspection instruments and gauges for troubleshooting
Well organized, communicative, disciplined team player with strong attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision, identifying strategies to remove roadblocks
Mental flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle motors and inverters using cranes and other lifting equipment
Ability to climb on propeller stands using proper safety equipment
Ability to work safely around high voltages
Ability to work outside in extreme temperatures
Ability to participate in atypical work schedules
Not affected by strong magnetic fields (e.g., no pacemakers or similar medical devices)
Above and Beyond Qualifications
Experience in implementing test setups for electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance testing
Experience with rotating machinery testing
Background in aerospace industry applications
Working knowledge of high voltage equipment
Working knowledge of electric drives and motors
Mechanical experience, including familiarity with A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) practices or similar hands-on technical skills
Experience with Matlab, Labview, Python or other data acquisition and analysis software

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on assembly of test fixtures, including both mechanical and electrical/wiring assembly
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve test equipment for both internally developed and externally purchased systems
Contribute to the development and execution of test procedures, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness
Setup, execution, and support of tests for aircraft electric motors, inverters, and associated components
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results
