Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 5+ years of experience in software testing, including designing and executing test strategies for complex, multi-component systems
  • Strong knowledge of software quality principles, testing methodologies and defect management processes, and ability to analyze system designs and requirements to identify potential risks
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress), scripting languages (Typescript, Go, Python), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Github actions)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive end-to-end test plans for complex, multi-system features, ensuring they meet functional, performance and compliance requirements before release
  • Drive integration and end-to-end testing coordinating testing efforts across multiple teams and components, ensuring sustainable test automation coverage across releases
  • Analyse test results, track and report defects, failures and noted behaviors, and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers (SWEs) and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues, identify risks early and ensure robust test coverage
  • Establish and enforce best practices for test planning, executing and defect triage, and maintain documentation of test results and processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and industry best practices
  • Proactively identify areas of improvements, and advocate for quality across the product lifecycle to prevent defects before they occur
