The Territory Manager Market Support role is designed to cover for Territory Managers while they work on other projects, with an expectation to transition to a full Territory Manager position in approximately 9 to 12 months, as approved by sales leadership.
This is not a remote position; it involves frequently working outside the office environment in the field visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions, driving a motor vehicle to customers and prospects, and is based in Rapid City, SD.
Minimum qualifications include 1+ year of sales experience preferred, foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to build relationships and cold call, exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, competitive spirit, results-driven mentality, and problem-solving/organization abilities.
The role involves a field-based work environment, frequently outside the office visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions, managing deliveries, troubleshooting order issues, and may include lifting up to 75lbs.
Strong candidates will have sales experience, preferably in foodservice or hospitality, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a competitive results-driven mentality, and the ability to cold call, problem-solve, and work in a field-based team selling model.
